  • Martin- Bright Young Boy!

Martin has been doing so many new things the last few days that make us think that we have a bright young boy on our hands.  He has learned how to snap his fingers (and they actually make the snapping noise).  He did this all on his own on Wednesday and then did it again today.  Martin also learned how to say thank-you this week and has been thanking us when we give him something.  He also says please and the other day (this week) he yelled out from his crib his first sentence twice in a row which was, "I don't know!"  It was so funny!  I meant to bring our little device to the library that has our personal computer imformation on it (I forget the name of the little thing)so I could plug it in here and download some pictures of Martin but I forgot.  Oh well.  Maybe I'll remember it next time I come.  I'm still breastfeeding Martin 3-4 times a day.  I'm so glad that I have the time to give him with our new job- not to say thasix other boys don't take up a lot of time though!  We love our new job and have made several friends on staff here.  I got to see my sisters' family the other week since they only live about 4 hours away.  It was so great to see them and where they live.  I guess that's it for my update now!

About Me

  • I'm a protestant evangelical who believes in reformed theology as outlined in the covenental belief system as a way to logically describe what the Bible teaches. I believe in Elders (plural) in the role of teaching, preaching, and decision making, (church governing) for churches. I believe that women do not have a role in preaching(women Pastors). I believe in the usage of the sacraments and to hold them in high esteem. Namely, I believe in water baptism for believers and their children. In the old covenent, the inclusion of believers and their families was done in order to teach the children. Water baptism is part of the new covenant of course but has similarities in lingo etc. in how it was instituted as we compare it to old covenant. The other sacrament to honor is the Lord's Supper which should be partaken of regulary by believers and their children (in order to teach the children).
